Preventing sending test messages to receiver systems

You should use this method for SAP PI/PO systems older than SAP PI/PO 7.50 SP 14. From SP14, it is possible to use the SAP PIT injector and stop sending the test messages without stopping the communication channels.

Setting up Int4 IFTT with SAP PIT

To prevent an outbound test message from being sent out to receiving systems, Int4 IFTT can stop the communication channel and void the messages. Once IFTT retrieves the content of a message for comparison, it cancels the message in PI and starts channels again.

In SAP PI/PO, the communication channel must be set to external control in SAP PI/PO communication channel monitor.

As per the template SAP PO communication user, role SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE is needed. The detailed authorization requirements are described in SAP note 2197365
