Int4 Suite: CPI Trace Scheduler
The SAP CPI Trace Scheduler allows activating the CPI trace for specific periods to store the processed message payloads. By default, SAP CPI trace activation is valid only for 10 minutes. For this reason, you need to use this functionality to keep the trace active for more extended periods. Also, please note that messages are persisted on SAP CPI only for an hour. That is why the combination of trace activation report and SAP CPI Robot is the best way of mass test case creation.
You can access the SAP CPI trace activation within the SAP CPI Robot or schedule the report /INT4/IFTT_CPI_TRACE as a Background Job.
On the main screen of the IFTT CPI Trace Scheduler, you will find the following option:
Selection Parameters:
Environment - mandatory, must be defined as CPI
CPI iFlow ID - mandatory, a search help with the list of iFlows on the specified landscape is available
Run settings:
Run Now in Foreground - executes the trace activation immediately
Run Now in Background - executes the trace activation immediately in the Background
Run Periodically in Background - Schedules the trace activation based on the following Periodic Settings:
Frequency - default: 9 minutes
End on - default: current date + 4h
End at - default: current time + 4h
Test Case Limit - this section allows to limit the CPI Trace activation for each of the selected iFlows based on the number of test cases already created. There are two settings involved:
Target Folder (Root) - root folder where the test cases should be counted in, all subfolders are also taken into account during counting
Max TC Count per iFlow - maximum number of test cases per iFlow, iFlow is removed from the selection parameters if found number of test cases is equal or greater that this value.
If all iFlows provided in the selection parameters are removed, next job will not be scheduled.
Show detailed log checkbox - once selected, there will be additional information logged during execution
