SAP CPI Trace

SAP CPI Trace

Trace is a built-in logging option in SAP CPI. It can be turned on for 10 minutes, and messages will be stored for 60 minutes. Int4 IFTT will turn on trace automatically during test case execution. However, if your iFlow does not have a store option, it will need to be turned on during test case creation.

It is necessary to activate the trace for interfaces that we would like to exchange messages and later create the test cases in Int4 IFTT.

Procedure:

  1. Activate the trace
  2. Perform manual testing of the flows
  3. Create test cases in Int4 IFTT.

Activation from test cockpit

Click 'Activate CPI trace':

Choose landscape, and you will be forwarded to popup with all iFlows in the particular landscape :

Choose the one or multiple landscapes you would like to turn on the trace.

Manual activation

Go to Overview → Manage Integration Content → <iFlow name>

Activation using Trace Scheduler
