APITester Cockpit
Int4 APITester Cockpit is the central tool for daily operations - creation, management and execution of test cases.
Starting Int4 APITester Cockpit
To begin, log into the SAP Fiori cockpit. Depending on your user authorization, you will see a screen with a set of Fiori tiles. Locate the tile related to Int4 APITester Cockpit and click it.
Int4 APITester Cockpit elements
Upon starting, Int4 APITester Cockpit displays a list of folders used to organize test cases into testing scenarios.
The navigation follows typical SAP Fiori and web-application approach, featuring expandable and selectable folders. Details of navigation are described in the APITester Cockpit Navigation section of this manual.
Test Folder Columns
Description - a free-form text field, defined by the user, describing the folder's purpose
Number of tests - number of all test cases in folder and its subfolders
Landscape - default landscape where test cases in the folder will be executed
Id - an unique number to your installation, identifying each folder
When a folder is selected (by marking the checkbox on the left), the list of associated test cases will be displayed on the right.

Test Case - an unique number to your installation, identifying each separate test case
Description - user-defined free-form text to inform about the purpose of the test case
Interface Type - the testing technology used for each test case
Automation Object - the automation object used for test case execution and validation
Parent Test Case - defines a test case parent, used for defining test structure for a scenario and passing data between test cases
Environment - the environment where the test will run by default (this is often inherited from the folder definition)
Origin - the environment from which the test case was originally captured
APITester Cockpit Features
Quick Access
For direct access to a specific folder or test case, use the Quick Access feature located above the folder list. Select either "Folder" or "Test Case," input the corresponding ID number, and click Go to navigate to the desired object.
Test Case Filtering
To simplify searches in scenarios or folders containing a large number of test cases, use the Filter feature. Enter your filtering criteria (e.g., part of a description or an automation object name) in the fields above the test case list, click Go, and the displayed list will update accordingly.
