The following roles are required roles for the communication user from Int4 Suite installation to non-Prod SAP PI/PO systems:
Role Name | Use |

SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE | reading processed messages |
SAP_XI_MONITOR_ABAP (only for SAP PI ABAP stack) | reading processed messages |
SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER | triggering test messages |
SAP_XI_API_DISPLAY_J2EE | testing adapter modules, reading interface details |
SAP_XI_API_DEVELOP_J2EE | testing adapter modules (modification of IFTT sender communication channel) |
SAP_PIT_INJECTOR | optional role when for SAP PI Unit Test (20) SAP PIt is used. This functionality is available from SAP PO > 7.5 SP14. More information here. |
