SAP PIT prerequisites

To start working with SAP PIT, it must be configured and activated in your SAP PO environment.

SAP PI/PO 7.50 SP 14 or later with the latest Kernel Patch level is required
Injector application com.sap.aii.pit.injector.app has to be deployed and running
Application property pit.injector.enabled has to be set to true
You can check and configure this in NWA → Configuration → Infrastructure → Java System Properties → Applications.
HTTP destination PIT_SYSTEM needs to be configured in NWA → Configuration → Infrastructure → Destinations. Please note that the user created for this destination needs to have the following role assigned:

In addition to the above, the PI/PO communication user used to execute test cases requires the additional PI/PO role: SAP_PIT_INJECTOR.

Keep in mind that to test synchronous interfaces the user setup in the PIT_SYSTEM http destination must have the following role assignet: SAP_PIT_RETRIEVE_RESPONSE
