Preparation
In this section, you will prepare authorization and communication users for testing with Int4 IFTT
Review the Installation Manual (received together with installation files)
Create the communication users in tested SAP PI/PO Systems: Roles for SAP PI/PO communication user
Ensure that SAP PI/PO persistence settings are correct. They are some settings needed to read messages before and after processing, for:
- Java stack: SAP PI/PO JAVA Stack Persistence
- ABAP stack:SAP PI ABAP stack configurationPrepare Int4 IFTT roles on the system where Int4 IFTT Addon will be deployed.
- Start with the administrator role: Additional Authorizations
- Provide the this role to Int4 consultant users[Optional - For SAP backend testing scenarios] Prepare communication users in tested backend systems (SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA). Int4 IFTT is delivered with several Role Templates. Please refer to the particular section of this documentation for more details, according to your needs. For instance, if INT4 IFFT will be used to test the IDOCs on the Backend system, then prepare the communication user using the template: /INT4/IFTT_BCKND_IDO - IFTT Backend Communication - IDOC Testing
Please note that the function module name should be the same as created in step 4 of the installation section.Optional - For SAP backend testing scenarios] Suppose there is a need for additional support from the Int4 consultant during the backed system testing. In that case, user access for Int4 consultants in tested backend systems (SAP ECC or S/4HANA) needs to be prepared. Like in point 5, Role Templates should be used for that purpose. Please refer to the particular section of this documentation for more details, according to your needs. For instance, if the support will concern the AIF area, then prepare the user access using the template: /INT4/IFTT_BCKND_AIF - IFTT Backend Communication - AIF Testing
