Edge Integration Cell preparation

Edge Integration Cell (EIC) instance is configured as a separate Int4 Suite Environment. To configure EIC instance in addition to steps described in Int4 Suite SAP CPI preparation you need to populate below environment specific global parameters:

SAP IS - API Path Prefix - in form of “/location/<runtimeLocationId>” for example “/location/myedge”. You can find the EIC runtime location Id by opening the monitoring of your Integration Suite and changing the Runtime to given EIC. In the URL you should see address with runtime location Id. For example:
/itspaces/shell/monitoring/Artifacts/%7B"edge"%3A%7B"runtimeLocationId"%3A"myedge"
SAP IS - Runtime Location Id - pass runtime location Id collected for previous step, for example “myedge”.
SAP IS - Int4 Dispatcher Id - default name should be Int4_Dispatcher_EIC

After completing the above, please make sure that you deployed Int4_Dispatcher_EIC iFlow from Int4 Dispatcher package to EIC.

You can reuse API RFC created for Cloud Integration for all EICs in the same BTP subaccount

New RFC needs to be created for each EIC Runtime. Despite runtime RFC being different for EIC than for the Cloud Integration the key created for Cloud Integration is applicable for the EIC.

Currently some of the OData APIs are not available at EIC. Some search helps in Automation Objects such as list of deployed iFlow or Blocks in deployed iFlows are not available.
