PREREQUISITES:
at least one test case created
USE:
int4 IFTT maintains version history for each test case. Versions are used for updating test cases subsequently to changes within the source message.
Versioning feature can also be used to recreate archive test cases.
int4 IFTT creates versions automatically if content of the message is modified manually by the user. The tool verifies if the content has actually been changed. If the message content is edited but no changes are made a new version won't be created.
PROCEDURE:
Creating a new version of a test case:
Launch Test Cockpit.
Switch to Change Mode.
Click Add version next to the existing test case that you want to modify:
Document number and Version description fields become editable. The version number is automaticaly increased.
Insert the new document number removing the old document number and add a description.
Save the test case.
Click the History button to check the archived versions of all of the test cases in the active scenario.
Recreating a test case from the archive:
Launch Test Cockpit.
Click the All Versions button to check the archived versions of all of the test cases in the active scenario:
The tick indicates which version is currently in use:
Select the document number of the test case which you want to recreate and copy it to the clipboard.
