PREREQUISITES:

USE:

Int4 IFTT may use SAP eCATT Test Configuration objects as test cases (or SAP eCATT scripts directly). Test Configuration defines general attributes of a test executed, e.g., RFC system on which the script will run, variant of parameter values used during execution.

PROCEDURE:

  1. Launch SECATT transaction.

  2. Select the Test Configuration radio button.

  3. Enter a name for your Test Configuration.

  4. Click on Create Object.

  5. On the Configuration tab, enter your Test Script name as Test Script.

  6. Select "ECATT"  as Tool Name.

  7. Enter "EC_TEST_SYS_ALL_TYPES" as SystemData Container or enter your custom System Data Container.

  8. If the eCATT test script contains input or output variables:

    1. Go to the Variants tab and select the Internal Variants radio button.

    2. Click on the Append Variant button, and type "IFTT" as a Variant name. IFTT will use this variant during execution and will automatically populate values of variables by IFTT eCATT adapter

    3. Uncheck the default variant, so the IFTT variant is selected.

  9. Go to the Attributes tab and select the Restrictions tab.

  10. Scroll down to the Data Access Using API section and check API Access Permitted. This setting is required for IFTT to access this Test Configuration and pass values as parameters.

  11. Save your Test Configuration.

  12. To run the recordings, eCATT needs to be enabled on the system. Also, the system needs to be opened for changes in SCC4 and SE06.
