API to integrate Int4 IFTT with other software

Int4 IFTT is delivered with an API service that can be used to perform testing from external testing suites like Microfocus UFT and others. The API can also be called locally from custom SAP ABAP programs to speed up or automate testing operations.

The test case execution API is exposed as:

• Remote Function Module (RFC)

• SOAP Web Service

• REST API

Both synchronous and asynchronous execution of test cases is possible with IFTT API.

Alternatively, you can record the Int4 IFTT API invocation as a UI script:

It allows passing the test case numbers or scenario numbers.

Passing scenario gives more flexibility as the scenario can be called, for example, 'SAP PI unit tests for Sales interfaces'. It can be setup once in external testing software. The content of the scenario can be continuously managed in IFTT (new test cases can be added or removed), while the integration with external software stays as is.
