SAP PI/PO Wizard

The SAPI PI/PO Wizard is used to create multiple Automation Objects based on SAP PI/PO's Integrated Configuration or Receiver Determination objects.

Please note that only one person can access mass configuration and SAP PI/PO Wizard.

In the transaction /INT4/IFTT_CONF_MASS, you will find the 'SAP PI/PO Wizard' button in the top menu:

The first step is to select:

  • The Environment used to display object from the respective SAP PI/PO system
  • Classical ABAP configuration - when the checkbox is selected, the wizard will display the Receiver Determination objects in the Dual-Stack installations.

In addition, it is possible to limit the SAP PI/PO objects for particular interfaces by:

  • Sender Party
  • Sender Component
  • Service Interface
  • Service Interface Namespace (you can use the wildcards characters, the search is case-sensitive)

After choosing the environment and the filtering criteria, you will see all configuration objects in SAP PI/PO system. The objects will be based on Integrated configuration (Java scenarios) or Receiver Determination (ABAP stack scenarios):

Green diode indicates that one or more Automated Objects already exist in Int4 IFTT.
If you choose the line (mark or double click), the details will be displayed to the right. This functionality currently works only for ICO objects.

Suppose there is more than one IFTT automation object for the same sender interface name & namespace. In that case, the first one will be displayed together with each ICO.

To create or modify objects, fill in object name and description and choose 'Build IFTT configuration objects.' You will be prompted with a popup screen controlling additional parameters.

Suppose objects for chosen interface already exist in IFTT. In that case, you will see a list of those objects to decide whether you want to proceed.

After successful creation or modification, reload /INT4/IFTT_CONF_MASS to see results.

Synchronous interfaces

Please note that due to the specific SAP PO design (only JAVA stack), the synchronous interface request messages are visible in the monitoring by the outbound interface signature. Due to this case, the Automation Object needs to be created/adjusted manually. Link: Creating the configuration object for the PI synchronous interface
