Testing of business processes

USE:

One of the key Int4 IFTT features is grouping single test cases into process chains and testing the whole business process. Thanks to the variable concept the relations between documents pass between them during the test case execution. Int4 IFTT uses parent IDs to connect two or more test cases. One inbound message can refer to many inbound, outbound or synchronous messages. Moreover, Int4 IFTT also supports automatization of manual actions between execution of interfaces. For this purpose it is integrated with SAP eCATT - a standard SAP tool for recording and replicating manual actions.

EXAMPLE:

In this example Order To Cash process, some of the documents result from application interfaces (both inbound and outbound) and there are some manual actions in between:

  1. The EDI message creates Sales order.
  2. User creates a delivery and post goods issue
  3. The delivery document triggers sending of an ASN message.
  4. User creates an invoice
  5. Invoice issue to EDI partner.

To find related messages Int4 IFTT looks for the same CaseID, as the Parent ID declared during the test case creation. Then messages are run in store order in Int4 IFTT Test Cockpit. To learn how to create sequential test cases go to section of sequence test case.
