IFTT configuration is set separately for each PROXY inbound interface that you intend to test. This is done only once making the test case creation quick and effortless.
PROCEDURE:
- Create new object definition
Info Some documents require more than one key field (Xpath Name) to be identified and traced for further processing. Use additional xpath expressions (2..5) in order to locate those fields.
- In Object Variables set variable type for variables fetched by each xpath.
- Define Database Comparison Rules
- Define Selection Criteria
- Define Comparison Details with: description, name and the namespace of the tested interface
- In Object Variables Settings define variables names and descriptions.
- In Variable Processing define actions and variable processors that will process each of the variables data
- In Database Comparison Rules define Table Names of those tables that should be compared.
- In Selection Criteria define how IFTT should locate those tables i.e. by a reference to which value
- In Comparison Details define a set of fields to be compared and rules to be applied
- Define Additional Parameters
- Define Number RangesDefine Number Ranges that can be used i.e. to generate values for messages created after the test case execution.
