PREREQUISITES:

USE: 

int4 Int4 IFTT may use SAP eCATT Test Configuration objects as test cases (or SAP eCATT scripts directly). Test Configuration defines general attributes of a test that will be executed, e.g., RFC system on which the script will run, variant of parameter values that will be used during execution. 

PROCEDURE:

  1. Launch SECATT transaction.

  2. Select Select the Test Configuration radio button.

  3. Enter a name for your Test Configuration.

  4. Click on Create Object.

  5. On the Configuration tab, enter your Test Script name as Test Script.

  6. Select "ECATT"  as Tool Name.

  7. Enter "EC_TEST_SYS_ALL_TYPES" as SystemData Container or enter your custom System Data Container.

  8. If the eCATT test script contain contains input or output variables:

    1. Go to the Variants tab and select the Internal Variants radio button.

    2. Click on the Append Variant button, and type "IFTT" as a Variant name. This variant will be used by IFTT IFTT will use this variant during execution , and will automatically populate values of variables will be automatically populated by IFTT eCATT adapter.

    3. Uncheck the default variant, so on the IFTT variant is selected. 

  9. Go to to the Attributes tab and select select the Restrictions tab.

  10. Scroll down to the Data Access Using API section and check API Access PermitedPermitted. This setting is reuired required for IFTT to be able to access this Test Configuration and pass values as parameters.

  11. Save your Test Configuration.

  12. In order to be able to To run the ECATT recordings ECATT , eCATT needs to be enabled on the system as well . Also, the system needs to be opened for changes in SCC4 and SE06.
